FLATTERED

The Flattered ethos embraces the Scandinavian philosophy of living. Through considered design and uncompromising quality, we aim to forge a new luxury for the smart, independent, and conscious woman, with a genuine intention to design products that stand the test of time and contribute to changing habits around unnecessary consumption.

Committed to building a responsible, dynamic and honest brand, we strive to be a force of positive change in our industry — by making products that last longer, honoring the craftsmanship behind them and working with materials and processes proven to be better for the environment.

The name Flattered derives from the brand’s original signature collection of ballet flats, first launched in 2013. All Flattered products are designed in the heart of Stockholm and handmade by our factories in Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

Flattered Factories:

All of our Flattered factories are proudly family-run businesses deeply dedicated to premium quality and unwavering values. They are all chosen for their exceptional craftsmanship. The fusion of time-honoured manufacturing techniques with our steadfast commitment to environmental responsibility and contemporary design concepts empowers us to advance and enrich our brand's excellence and innovation continuously.

Our shoe production facilities are situated in Elda and Elche in Spain and Porto, Portugal. Meanwhile, our exquisite bags and small leather goods are meticulously crafted in a factory located in Montesilvano, Italy. We maintain a close-knit partnership with all our factories, engaging in near-daily communication to ensure that our products consistently meet our high standards.

All our factories have signed our Code of Conduct based on the UN Global Compact’s ten principles covering the following four main areas: human rights, labour conditions, the environment, and anti-corruption.

Another  good thing about our production is that 60% of our products are sourced from factories that run mainly on solar power.

“Many hands make our products, as each product passes through highly skilled artisans who have learned, developed and perfected their craft through centuries. From the pattern cutter to the sewer to the final detail, each product is crafted by hand, and we know the artisans who make them”— Sara Hellstromer, Production Manager.
